My perspective:
1. There are good intentions behind saving a species but are we really saving it if it’s not going to be the same? It’s more like accelerated evolution.

2. Extinction is happening because of reckless human consumption and behavior. So why are we not addressing that too?

no. the consequences are always unexpected.
