My dear fren this is supposed to be an intro to IDM and not a contest of electronic elitism. As much as I love him, putting Venetian Snares in an "introduction to IDM" list doesn't make any sense. That being said, you have a point about Planet Mu and, could have a thrown a u-ziq in there.

hard disagree here - too much focus on Warp Records, not enough Venetian Snares, Mille Plateaux, Sublight and Planet Mu!

Yeah I hesitated with inacuabula but I chose Tri Repetae because I think it’s more different in terms of sound whereas incunabala is closer to SAW! But I agree both those albums could work just as well! 💜🫵

i fw this list heavy, id replace tri repaete wit incunabula or SIGN tho
