A year ago, I launched /itookaphoto as a place anyone can cast their best photos. My buddy and talented photographer, @jonathancolton, joined me as the channel's co-host. A cooler name than mod. 🤣 JC went on to build some of the best channels on WC - /nature, /lightchasers and /positivesum. As @dwr.eth put it, to launch a channel you must fan the flames of a small campfire. We did tons of outreach. Degen was blowing up and that helped get photographers interested in casting. Valentine's Day 1mil explosion! Fun contests! Many Rounds helped the fire grow to get us to the top of the channel leaderboard. But MOST importantly, lots of talented photographers - amateurs and professionals - casted and created a welcoming environment to share art. Over time, I launched /itookavideo, /aitookaphoto and /itookaselfie and others! Fun channels without a crypto focus. I am fortunate to have built these channels with all of you! I have a lot of envy for my sister. She gave birth literally in 3 hours, without any unnecessary trauma and effort. Her baby is very calm, she really, only eats, sleeps and cries a little when you need to change a diaper, at night sleeps for 6-7 hours in a row. Now she is 2 months old, my sister is already picking at everything in the vegetable garden, my daughter lies next to her calmly and looks at everything around her. She also quickly got into shape and begins to do all sorts of exercises. And I compared to her - heavy labor, do not sleep and do not eat, because the child screams constantly, wakes up literally every hour at night and whines all day and hangs on the chest. Why do some people get everything and some people get nothing? It's not fair! #life #history #interesting
