ethereum foundation had all the money in the world and all the incentives to push /zk forward but they did nothing because they are trying to "stay neutral" ef was also *the only* party in the world that could push /zk forward but they didn't even if i called them out multiple times on it saying that they should support zk companies all the good zk companies have failed without the support of ef ef doesn't care about /zk no matter what people say there https://www.personaelabs.xyz/new-directions

I don’t know if money mattered as much as timing I’ll continue trying to build zk into every product I make, just don’t think it’s the main thing yet

starknet, mina, polygon etc there are plenty of great zk companies that are pushing zk forward without the ef. I don't think there is any need there.

i always felt the personae stuff was engineering wizardy and not product or maybe bc i’m not into nouns. not sure what the ef could have done for them.

It's really disappointing, with its significant resources and influence Their goal of 'staying neutral' seems to have come at the cost of letting promising /zk companies fail, which could have had significant implications for the development and adoption of this important technology
