EF should have supported ZK startups with social capital but they never did all the ZK startups are dying in real time if Ethereum was as cypherpunk as it wants to be, these projects would not have been abandoned

This resonates with me. There's purported ethos vs. actual follow through with capital. Unfortunately EF has not done enough to cultivate these ideas. It exacerbates degen gambling; folks have to resort to VC funding shitcoins. We need sustainable models of development. Funding up to research stage is not enough
