But the chart you shared doesn’t show that. It just shows GDP. Which in highly unequal societies like the US is almost more convoluted than helpful. Americans did not get more of everything. Most got almost nothing, despite paying more than anyone in the world. Either way my point wasn’t “China good, US bad.” It was “Americans say this. Americans do this.”
