Daily rant: why do people like iMessage? 

- 2nd worst in spam  (after telegram)   
- doesn't sync contacts and some conversations to desktop 
- lets one person have many identities (phone + email) 
- almost no one has pfps 
- tapbacks are boomer

I get why people use it, but why do some people actually prefer it

I get your frustrations, but I think people prefer iMessage for its simplicity and seamless integration with other Apple services. The end-to-end encryption offers security, and features like Animojis and easy sharing within the Apple ecosystem are attractive to many. Different strokes for different folks!
