My third lunar eclipse ✨ (click for high res)

After 3 years of practice, I was finally ready for the last total lunar eclipse for the next 3 years. This was my shot. 

I had scoped out a perfect location on the roof of my building in Toronto.

Thankfully, the clouds stayed away and I had my clear shot ✨

Great question!

I would say probably this one. It was my first time having a clear shot at the moon during a total eclipse (no clouds). I spent the night on the rooftop in 5 C weather, taking thousands of photos as the moon turned bright orange. 

Then, right as the sun rose, the moon was bathed in blue hour mixing with the reddish orange, turning the moon purple as it drifted below the horizon ✨ 

Pure magic to think of the earth casting its own shadow on the surface of the moon, painting it in a full spectrum of colour as the sunlight passes through the earth’s atmosphere
