for me, the first big lightbulb moment came when I was researching solutions to fake news in law school (2018) and learned about cryptographic signatures via blockchain as a way to add decentralized authentication to media online The concept was that we could introduce authentic digital scarcity was 🤯

ohh I see! thanks for sharing, will check it out 😊 There are always hype cycles that ebb and flow, but to me, the authenticate identity element is always going to be the most powerful (especially as we see the rise of AI generated content supersede human created content)
