I think spending a year writing about the biggest problems I could think of and tying them to emerging technology gave me a really great foundation to make videos about. 

Writing the newsletter for a year gave me the framework to parse my ideas and distill them into important understandings of the trajectory of tech and ai, which I’m then weaving into the YouTube videos.

But I also found my writing improved after making videos earlier in the year, so I think they synergistically impacted each other 😊 

I think what makes my tutorials so impactful is the fact that they’re grounded in the bigger picture of my plans for building and recalibrating sustainable creation systems, so people can see that there’s more to the puzzle at play here

Hmm a lot of YouTube is winging it I think. I’ve watched a lot of videos from different creators, but I think at the end of the day, what makes YouTube work is finding something that actually augments your own voice, rather than the derivative voices of others. 

The best way to help is to share videos with people who might find it interesting, as that helps the flywheel to continue spinning 😊 

YouTube is only a part of the business! I’m using it to practice teaching at the moment, while gathering data on what people are interested in. It’s going to be a distribution method for the rest of my business, which is all tied to my digital identity.

I’d recommend watching my video on digital identity to see the bigger picture more if you’re interested, but happy to hear suggestions or see resources you find interesting 🫡

I've enjoyed getting to know what you are up to this week and this helped. We have a good bit in common--not so much what we are doing, but interests and approach.
