There's no easy way, we migrated to the new "social sharing" banner that you see and it's not clear how we can support animated gifs in that

tbh, I significantly prefer the previous banner. This one looks a bit tacky and removes the design component of marketing articles (something I know lots of people put a lot of effort into)

Noted, we're always looking to improve the banner. It's challenging to get something that everyone likes

for sure! 

As a thought, could offer a toggle between two kinds of banners, an auto generated social sharing one, and the previous style

can always share the gifs separately too, so not the end of the world, just got a lot of positive feedback on them when sharing my paragraph posts :)
