the culture + context of crypto has been so negative that it has made it so creators are terrified of even experimenting with the single most powerful economic technology we have invented — a coin that seems like something we need to fix, urgently.

how do we fix it? Almost all examples of coins tend to be a short moment of hype (if lucky) before going to 0. How do we actually leverage coins in a way that allows for value to accrue, for liquidity to stabilize in any meaningful way? The per transaction % cut can work, I understand that in theory, but in practice, it only benefits people who are successful in any medium based on existing brands. I think that's more of what turns creators away than the model itself - how the model actually works out in practice. Genuinely interested in how you see it playing out in a sustainable way for all levels rather than just the top % of people, because that's been the status quo for a long time

imo tokens are the exact opposite of what is going to onboard the creator community at large. I know loads of creators IRL and on the web from my photography work and so many of them avoid crypto because of all the scam culture around it. Some of them were even taken advantage of by people using their artwork and making money off of them through NFTs. The pump and dump nature of tokens and the inevitable reality of speculation and trading around them just doesn't seem like it's going to make it better. Could be wrong, but imo it makes more sense to onboard people to crypto through non-speculation products that show the trust and security blockchain can bring through cryptography.
