I'll be honest, I don't actually get what it means to think from "first principles". like is the whole idea to keep on asking "why" till you get to the core layer of the question? how do u do this in an efficient way? and how do u avoid tricking urself into believing ur thinking critically vs actually doing it

Hmm I think it’s actually the opposite from diving deeper into the question. In math and physics, you’d return to the most basic equations and operations and build up from there. Eg with farcaster solutions, don’t start thinking about building a client, go back to the protocol primitives and build up, not down
