The best country would have: * EU floor numbers (ground floor is 0th) * Also Global South floor numbers (don't skip 4th or 13th) * East Asian date format (YYYY-MM-DD) * EU time (24 hour) * Also non-Western time (no DST) * Anywhere-but-US units (meters, kg) * OK fine, if I can have all of the above I'll use Fahrenheit

From Ukraine last year, to Nagorno-Karabakh last month and now Israel, it really does feel like there's a trend of people becoming more comfortable with using large-scale unilateral violence to solve problems. That trend itself greatly worries me; each instance normalizes and legitimizes the next.

Main learning re twitter was: > A phone number is sufficient to password reset a Twitter account even if not used as 2FA. Can completely remove phone from Twitter. I had seen the "phone numbers are insecure, don't authenticate with them" advice before, but did not realize this
