if token splits won't juice mcap, token concentration (reduction/ burn) won't either. there's only one degen economy in either case. changing the tokens "inside", abruptly, will slosh value around for a bit, producing exit opportunities for attentive players... but eventually the system finds its old equilibrium (probably lower than before because the burn was about forcing the market up... and now people has a sad).

projects that capitulate to community burn demands are near death imo
