uh, don't have an answer to that one. try this: i think moxie is VERY smartly designed i think moxie is going to succeed at its given task i think moxie is structurally complementary to degen i think moxie's distribution mechanism suits its purpose i think tipping is a novel experiment and worth perfecting i think moxie buys degen time it needs to mature i think degen set the stage for moxie's ascent i think the two, taken together, are farcaster's actual economy i think moxie will injure (but not kill) degen and insodoing save it

my thesis is that degen got dragged into a losing quagmire. it was positioned, accidentally, as "the farcaster economy" or "creative income" and not "a special reward for work done well" ie, a tip. >degen is our guerilla investment capital and curation tool >moxie is more invisibly threaded into the farcaster experience, more passive, and more like social security than venture capital
