Raffles, art sales, engagement farming, etc, aren't violating the rules per se, but it's directionally wrong, rewards low effort bullshit (like being randomly selected), and cultivates a toxic me-me-mine culture.

You're overstating it. Not really dangerous. Maybe not dangerous at all. Just not my preference. Though I've walked back my own feelings and, really, it's just raffles I don't like. I've come around to Tip Markets, as long as ppl are comfortable with the risks.

Yeah. I'm probably being too judgy about raffles too. In this case, it's a net good because you're using it to grow a niche channel and treat it as short term.

Structured plans are better.

My REAL issue seems to be lazy raffles and anything that just gives the tip away frivolously. Intention is 🗝️

I just can’t imagine a timeline filled with this every day.  I understand it works for growth and has been amazing for his channel.  Think it should be ok to trade tips for art if someone wants that but even that can get out of hand.  I don’t trust tips until I claim them so not doing that. Lost way too many s1
