:( our swallows left the nest for the year few days ago too (Last year though they came back with a late run of eggs at end of season which in the 6 years they're been using the nest here I ain't seen them come twice in a year)

Just saw this and checked out the full story and you make me want one of this, even if I'm in city center and my area is totally polluted with pidgeons, don't want to have a full colony on my windows, it wouldn't be so peaceful as in your case.. But it's so beautiful to be able to see this so closely..

Awwwww, man. Happy that the left because it means baby birdy was mature enough to fly and for the journey of life to continue. But also a bit sad cause we are gonna miss the updates on those little friends we made, through your window!
