im a big fan of the recent degen tipping changes 1. deriving tipping allowance from a combo of locking the token and the social graph strength feels like a really elegant solution to reward people with real skin in the game 2. it's much less farmable, yet the numbers are still really solid (~300 APY atm) 3. degen tipping remains the best growth strategy on farcaster — lots of supercast users got more in degen tips than they ever paid for supercast 4. it's not clear yet, but the branding really improves — i was disappointed with the ai images and begging meta before. Now the vibe it's closer to actually rewarding valuable contributions to the network. 5. having a predictable emission budget is great too and makes the token much more sustainable over the long run im currently locking 500k degen and will look later how can i bring it to the max 10k allo imo @jacek did a great job with this one — im excited to release more degen related features in supercast soon :)

1. find the minimal number that feels good to tip (for me, $10) 2. maximize the number of people who can tip this number ~weekly. rolling over the daily allo helps 3. allow whales to lock big money (>$10k) to have a whale allo (like $100 daily) 4. the system should maximize awareness while minimizing the issuance @jacek has been doing great on the iteration speed so far, monthly cadence under such pressure and with so much money on the line is incredible

🤝 imo tips worked so well because they actually spam people’s feeds and spread the meme this is why tips through casts actions can’t really work, because then you only get the issuance (cost) without the product (awareness) cc @horsefacts.eth @deodad so as a degen holder i want awareness at the least cost possible ideally i want all big accounts to tip each other 1 DEGEN constantly this is not reasonable so have to find a local maximum somewhere
