I haven't abandoned Discord, but wading through a hundred servers packed with bear market noise isn't how I want to spend my days.

On that topic, it seems every Disco spent the last year doing "community games" to keep people from eating each other.

Awful. Just awful.

I'm sure it's fine for other uses, but it's not suitable for whatever I am. Too many servers, each with too many channels. I avoid it and rely on their announcement channels for notifs, avoiding the rest of it entirely. But it's a needlessly complicated experience for my purposes.
