Quick recap for newcomers: $degen is farcaster's money. It launched early-Jan and is still rolling out with three total airdrops planned. The first concluded; claims for that close May 1st. The second is underway: that's the tipping you've seen all over farcaster. It's meant to reward creators.

The whole thing is very exciting. It just feels like such a natural fit and it feels like the tech and product understanding is there.

It has been crazy, ngl. $degen started a mad rush into farcaster that was amplified by their global, freebie signups. The two produced a super-storm that crushed the network and brought us to today's ever rising stats.

Tipping is rad. Eventually the dao (or someone, probably me) will finance a custom degen client. We have degencast.xyz, which is beta but solid. But I want something akin to warpcast, but w/ native degen tipping and other services. Warps proved that ppl like convenience. Now that's make it real money.

Pretty pumped to see where it takes us. I also think that tipping is the most interactive and interesting monetisation method. The future is bright
