Really wish there was still a channel like /cryptoart-school for things like this. It's a shame @stellabelle left :(

the avg is likely accurate. are you clear on how fan tokens earn? ie, they don't send you money?

heh, yeah. it's a common mistake. let's use me as an example, just to keep things simple. wake earns 10000 moxie per day as a part of Airstack's everyday rewards airdrop campaign. by default, wake would get half of his rewards; his fans would get 20%, the channel he casted in would get 20%, and the farcaster network token gets the remaining 10%. but wake changed that default to send /all/ of his everyday rewards to wake fan token holders. as set, wake gets no everyday reward moxie. so how do his fans earn at all? the moxie sent to fan token holders is /not/ sent directly to fan wallets or made available to claim. instead that moxie is used to BUY fan tokens (increasing the price) and BURN them (reducing the supply). This increases the fan token price without also increasing the supply. it's a clever setup that works because fan tokens use bonding curves, not liquidity pools. https://build.moxie.xyz/the-moxie-protocol/moxie-protocol/fan-tokens

so fans "earn" because their tokens become more valuable? if so, not sure I like this as much. It's like friendtech but more steps.
