the whole gabagool = proxy story is still wild and shocking to me. it genuinely felt like we all knew the guy — he came across as sincere, thoughtful, and deeply engaged in every conversation. i was looking forward to meeting him one day. i've never seen someone so good at highlighting people and projects — and that played a huge role in clanker becoming what it is. there's no other launchpad where the founder was so invested in the community, and so skilled at writing thoughtful, engaging content about what users were building. maybe he was trying to make things right this time, but i guess we'll never know. we can't afford to give him another chance after what he did to his velodrome team, just months after publicly talking greed and scams in a vice interview. it's super unfortunate, and honestly, i don't even know how to feel. nothing but respect and condolences to the whole team. i can only imagine how hard it must've been to uncover the truth. that said — keep on clanking, motherfuckers.

I dont understand why ppl think they don't know him all of a sudden. You know how many people fuck up in the past to come back stronger? This is a classic example and now getting wayyyy out of hand with negativity. remember without this playing out there would be so much less going on here.

YES but he owned up to it as best he could. People change... and not to undermine the 350k but that team seems cracked and could figure out a bridge loan to cover. AGAIN not ideal and would have been stressful but manageable and again this was dealt with then. Also salaires... for how many and how long. side note: Crypto needs Hollyweird PR teams.

Ekk.. ok I see you on this but the bounty ask prob has deeper mental issues to unpack. This new world is all about mental wellness and not using fun 90s language anymore. Dude created some dope shit and make bad choices but clearly was/is trying to right that or soft scam off the top. Projects fucked now the more we unpack it. It only hurts the remaining members if we wanna go zachxbt all the transactions accounts etc.. I just want a North Star cause the clouds have covered the night sky. Is there any chance you two make amends and we get back to work?

But they wouldn’t exist without him? I don’t know enough about you or your team to say the same. A lot of the greatest artist and creators were/are liabilities… like esp prolific ones.

Everyone thought he was the leader of our project and we were doomed without him because he was loud and public and took credit for others work while quietly injecting a level of grift into everything. Our success was orders of magnitude larger once we cut him loose. You don’t need to carry the water for him.

I just wanted to know about your scenario before passing an opinion. After that he had to leave and love seeing given the circumstance you and co win hard. I’m just trying to better understand and learn about this cubble (crypto bubble). I could never carry the weight of water he moves… but reluctant to think someone else can or will. That’s all.
