the whole gabagool = proxy story is still wild and shocking to me. it genuinely felt like we all knew the guy โ he came across as sincere, thoughtful, and deeply engaged in every conversation. i was looking forward to meeting him one day. i've never seen someone so good at highlighting people and projects โ and that played a huge role in clanker becoming what it is. there's no other launchpad where the founder was so invested in the community, and so skilled at writing thoughtful, engaging content about what users were building. maybe he was trying to make things right this time, but i guess we'll never know. we can't afford to give him another chance after what he did to his velodrome team, just months after publicly talking greed and scams in a vice interview. it's super unfortunate, and honestly, i don't even know how to feel. nothing but respect and condolences to the whole team. i can only imagine how hard it must've been to uncover the truth. that said โ keep on clanking, motherfuckers.

I dont understand why ppl think they don't know him all of a sudden. You know how many people fuck up in the past to come back stronger? This is a classic example and now getting wayyyy out of hand with negativity. remember without this playing out there would be so much less going on here.
