if you mean there's more risk involved in all our futures than we'd like to admit, i agree (risk is complicated and difficult for our brains to grok)

but Words Matter and there is a fundamental different between sports gambling and building assets, even tho both involve spending cash and bearing risk

I think there's more speculation involved in all our futures than we'd like to admit (even the futures we are purposefully taking an investment mindset too).
