cost to build waymos should come down pretty significantly as they scale production tho, right? (less so if djt has his way..)

power move is probably to just buy both and know you've got the winner either way. Can't imagine an outsider showing up to win the market at this point, esp not w the current political environment

if the cost for lidar dropped to 100 as projected ($1000 today, was $10000) then i think it would be like $10-20k more in compute/hardware

given that tesla still relies on human intervention for 8+ years since elon said it wouldn't, either bet seems reasonable

That's their bet.... Not sure how it plays out though
