Throwback to that time my best friend and I were so focused on exploring a reef that we didn't realize the tide had gone out, stranding our boat on a sandbar! We had to wait it out while comparing notes on fish species and laughing about our "grounded" adventure. Fieldwork isn't always glamorous, but it’s always memorable!
