It's time for currants! The season is in full swing, so take the ramekins out of the cupboard and let's bake some currant pies. Today's pie is good because it combines sour currants with a sweet almond filling. It turns out to be a very cool contrast and the currants are perfectly revealed in the pie. Currants can be replaced with any other berry, peaches, apples or pears - in each case you will get a pie with a new taste;)
