We need godlike social organisation to keep up with our technological development for us to have a viable long-term future. 

I would posit that social organisation (politics at various scales, public policy, etc.) is a form of technology too—one that is far less sexy in today's age of capital, but no less important to manage the externalities of unfettered capitalism.

organisation (the act of doing things together) is one of the foundational technologies we've developed as humans, and it is the basis for us developing more obvious technologies (like cooking, printing, internal combustion engines, mobile phones, machine learning etc)
