You are right, but you are also wrong in some way.
So, in the physical world, how do you actually, **know** what the weather is at my place? How do you **know** that the address I gave you is actually my address, or that it even exists?
The answer is trust. In most cases, you trust a website, that trusts an organization, that is regulated by a government, and you trust the whole setup. You go to google maps, and you trust what you get. In crypto we call this an oracle.
The only problem web3 has with this, is the narrative that we can get to a world of zero trust. We are not, and we won't. But we have new ways to provide and evaluate trust assurances. 0 reply
