Links like [1] are converted to embeds. Fargo will replace the URL in the text with the embed index. This saves characters in the cast body, and gives more control to users.

 Plain https://farcaster.xyz (no brackets) is not converted.

 And a second embed [2]


Proposal: Allow clients to reference embeds by index inside the cast text, by using brackets, i.e. [1] or [2].

This will allow something like this [1] that looks like this [2].

A graphical client (web, native) can also treat [1] as buttons, or links that are clickable or have a hover, or do something more fancy, if they like. There's a lot of space for a nice UI. 

The main benefit is fewer characters in the cast body text, but also the ability for users to reference embeds. For example, "here are two images, before [1] and after [2]" which is a bit tricky today.

It also allows a cast with more than two links to decide what to embed and what not in a more predictable way.

I think it’s too much effort for a little optimization
