I think that the reason Farcaster vibes are positive despite market negativity (that's been going on for more than 3 months now), is that builders are a significantly large percentage of the active user base here. 

When you are building, 
a) you don't have much time to check prices, and 
b) you have good reasons to be optimistic about your future -I mean, that's what you're building in one way or an other.

I'd add that it's not just being a builder that gives you a reason to be optimistic about the future, but also that you need to be able to be optimistic about the future in order to have the energy to build in the first place.

Agreed. It also keeps your finger on the pulse of the value of the ecosystem here: there is tech that works to do things. See it, believe it, and know everyone will eventually catch on!

it's funny, i checked recently, and ethereum is at roughly the same price as when i joined farcaster two years ago
