How do you handle when your kids don’t share your passions?

It's not easy. But I had to step back and think, what a minute, so, you think that the best way for your kid to succeed or enjoy a world that will be totally different than the one you grew up, is to be like you or a better version of you? Now I'm more interested in exposure (she has to be exposed to as many things as possible), and to help her get deep into her (current....) passions. Example: You say you're interested in computer games? Let's learn about their history, and the heroes and stories of the space, and the genres, and the role of people that participate in making them, the great failures, and the tech and art and trends around computer games. Play, watch documentaries, listen to the a16z podcast episode about gaming, visit museums about retro gaming, see who wrote the music of this game and what else they've written, who designed the artwork and how they got there.
