My dream blog engine: - Posts as long casts stored on IPFS. - Casts embed the posts allowing me to "publish" them. - A channel only for my blog posts, sorted by date. - Cast replies are the comments. - Channel notifications for new posts. Tada! An easy to publish, easy to read, 100% decentralized blog. RSS+++

Kinda building this. 1) pulls casts from channel and paragraph posts https://498.wtf/prototypes/programmista/programmista-cast-feed https://498.wtf/prototypes/programmista/programmista-post-feed 2) supports long casts in different ways. https://498.wtf/prototypes/experimental/ Read only but will get to write, etc.

The home feed separates them by source. https://498.wtf/prototypes/programmista/ But it should be possible to do a mixin to combine from multiple sources. Such as this site I wrote last Thanksgiving. programmista.com

Nice! I've been thinking about pulling casts into my blog, but I'm not sure of the right format. But if I could pull my blog into Farcaster, it would be much easier.

Posting to paragraph or mirror and then casting the links in a channel can do the trick since paragraph and mirror already push content to Arweave and paragraph supports Farcaster comments of sorts. Not as simple as just storing plain text or markdown but gets the job done today.
