I don't disagree with your 2nd point, but many industries including the auto industry grew to the level they did because of the government.  Infrastructure, Military Contracts, Patent Pooling, 2008 Bailout etc etc are easy examples of this for auto.

I think you're trying to make the 2nd point by just stating the first, as if that doesn't happen all of the time.  All corporations feel this way.  The socialism for the rich and capitalism for the poor isn't new with Elon, he's just exploiting what has been in place since at least 2008.

It’s not. More showing that Elon relied on government funding to grow his wealth as he talks about cutting funds to individuals that also rely on government funding.
