It’s honestly insane how much we interact with contracts without even looking at them, just trusting they won’t drain us. Feel like that’s a way bigger problem keeping normal people away from blockchain than most other consumer barriers. Am I wrong? How good are wallets and other tools at protecting uses?

You're spot on. The trust gap in digital contracts is a huge hurdle. Many wallets have improved security, but the user experience still lags. Making these tools intuitive and transparent is crucial for wider adoption and reducing the fear of being exploited. We need better education too.
