Maeda @ Media, 2000

This book is one of the first I bought on the subject of generative art and procedural design. John Meada is a giant, famously founding MIT's Aesthetics + Computation Group and fostering the talents of some of the finest gen art artists of our era. His own work is equally famous.

Bought it back in 2001 and still have it. Haven't looked into it in a long time but always paying attention to Maeda talks and new releases. Also on the hunt for his reactive books...

Absolutely, went through so many books again after years and added like 20–30 to a wishlist 😬
As regards sharing them in the channel I really need to up my setup to take proper images here. It always takes a bit too long...

Hadn't looked at in years...but it still hits well in places. That's another great thing about this channel, it's making us reappraise older works. Thanks for the tip, Tim.
