Thanks___ there is a lot of variation, esp when you compare older PCB's with modern chips. I'm fascinated by the aesthetics because chips mimic so many other systems that need to be rigorously planned. For example - is this a plan for a city or a microchip? ;) btw, totally nerdy!

A closer look made it quite clear 😅 would have needed a time travel to be a microchip layout. On a second thought the topic is really interesting. I mean I’ve always been intrigued by the purely functional beauty of these but thinking now there might be more to it.
