Les Machines & Penser (Thinking Machines) was published in 1952 and is a significant historical text in the field of computer science and cybernetics. You can find copies of this still on sale but the original 1952 is quite a rare breed.

Ah, at least there seems to be a German translation "Denkmaschinen" with a foreword by Max Bense (sure, who else).

Good catch and with Bense as bonus. That's someone who should be better / more widely translated into English. (or French. ahah)
