Slanted 23 - Swiss Issue (2014)

Bi-yearly magazine (it’s actually a beautifully made book) by German publishers Slanted. The magazine always  has a main theme and a focus on design, typography, illustration and photography. 

Language for newer issues is English.

The quality of content and design is top notch 😮

The „Swiss issue“ features some history (like Max Bill) and a lot of studio spotlights, designers, typographers…

One of Swiss’ finest studios is „norm“ (the name is notorious for Swiss over-perfection and „bureaucratic“ design, yet many designs are actually super innovative and completely free of a normatic or stale design approach)

Thanks Biker, which ones do you have? I believe only the „older“ ones were in German and they switched to English at some point (which makes complete sense to reach a wider audience)

Also their other publications are always of the highest quality (like the yearbook of type)

Slanted is such a nice magazine ... I also have a few issues :-)
