Is all content art? Content can be purely functional or informational, a rather general term, an information carrier, part of a communication process. It can incorporate art or be art if it is intended as such by the author and has a certain aesthetic quality (difficult one). I’d say ‘content’ generally is a more functional term. Is all art content? I might have been too quick to answer this one correctly. It’s actually more difficult. If we understand content as an information carrier as part of a communication process, does this apply to everything we understand as art? It might depend on the context. Art can be extremely formal and abstract or idiosyncratic and the results of pure emotion. I would have difficulty interpreting that as content. 😅 Is all art content?
