Who has a book collecting problem and the unread pile grows faster than you can read? This is one of those books in my pile. 'The Language of Art - An approach to a theory of symbols'. The book is a systematic inquiry into the variations of symbols; letters/words/texts, pictures, diagrams, maps and models.

The addiction you describe relates to unread books (well I've at least looked through them a couple of times), unheard vinyl (still foiled) and collected NFTs, but don't find the time to do anything with them (like make a gallery, curation, print them or whatever). Also I pick up every nicely designed flyer or brochure

That seems to be the case for most people. Imagining that time will open up in the future and allow for interactions with people, places things... but in my experience time compresses and goes faster the older we get.
