The aversion to permissioned arrangements does a lot of harm in the DAO space. Voting does not work well for every kind of decision 

Civilization was built on top of trustful assumptions. As long as we make sure trusted roles are not capturable like in the status quo, we will be much better off relying on them.

any top of mind applications in nouns world?

- Domain-specific pods (media, tech, etc) each with their own budgets.

- Elected roles that are delegated power and ETH over specific contracts to run experiments. 

As it stands, experimentation on Nouns is very hard, and we end up only making big, bold bets instead of iterating our way into a something that works.
