Dave and I are hunters and we shoot with our cameras. We shoot not to kill but to capture the moment and immortalize what is in front of our eyes forever. 

One of our passions is to photograph storms. Yes we are storm chasers but we have always been photographers first. One of our favourite subjects to photograph is lightning. Raw, beautiful and extremely dangerous lightning. We only get one chance to capture these beautiful bolts. There are no retakes. We have to get it right the first time!

We are life partners & photographers with many interests. Storm chasing/spotting is one of our passions

How do you get the whole lightning? When I’ve shot them I get them broken. Maybe shutter speed? I use an iphone, not a reflex or mirroless but I’m curious

We have caught some with our iPhones but it’s not easy. DSLR’s are the way to go, at least for now. They keep improving them and the app too.
