yeah, actually avatars as nft is also example of same skeuomorphic design patterns. cuz in a nutshell nft is a primitive for everything and avatars helps to understand it better

Good point. My simplification is based on the idea that "being able to learn from textbooks from the 70s and 80s" is almost exactly "doesn't change" for the modern world of computers and the speed of development :)
