Lower priority feature requests

- Pinned casts on profiles
- Edit casts
- Animated PFPs

All are nice to have features but don’t solve an immediate top priority

Give recasts the respect they deserve: skip the algorithm heuristics and surface them as if I casted them myself while the original caster captures all the incoming engagement.

Bangers can't bang if they don't have a chance to spread organically.

Otherwise we're just stuck talking about crypto and founders 24/7

- recasting replies seems to do nothing at all, yet people do it all the time
- lack of virality in recasts could be a reason why @coolvids churned

Recasts get treated as a cast from the recaster by the home feed algo.

I personally don't recall seeing a vanilla recast on my home screen, nor do we see list of who recasted other people's casts

If goal is to increase engagement, than showing recast attribution is pretty important imo. I want people to know when I recast something and I want to know which cast is getting recasted

Thought experiment, but I think a retweet from Elon with no way of knowing Elon retweeted it will get significantly less engagement

We used to have it. Engagement improved when we removed it. :)
