Still sad that I couldn’t go horseback riding because of the snow. Dealing with it by eating horse every chance I get. Today was grilled to perfection. 


Anytime you see a little old man with a small stall and a blowtorch, you should definitely stop and buy whatever he is grilling.

Wow, I didn't expect it to be that soft. I guess now I have to visit Kumamoto and try it some time in the future!

It’s really really soft. But it’s also Japanese so it’s treated like wagyu here. This is from Kumamoto which is famous for it. 

Not sure if run of the mill Canadian horse meat would be the same. I only eat it in Japan because I know it was raised correctly.
