If the Tucker interview helps Congress block further weapons shipments to Ukraine and forces a peace process, is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Curious for the vibe check on FC.

(Anyone who's followed me for a while knows where I stand.)

A peace process of the type "stop helping Ukraine" people are advocating would very likely not survive the long term, because they don't have the stomach to set up meaningful disincentives against a round 3 of aggression another decade from now.

(eg. NATO membership is an example of such a disincentive)

btw while the topic is NATO expansion, some interesting numbers even I didn't see before that show that, contra the hype, the west actually was making a pretty solid good-faith effort to demonstrate non-aggressiveness toward Russia all the way up to 2014:
