Wait, there's *three* different spellings of Sriram??!?! @sreeramkannan @sriramk.eth Please tell me there isn't a fourth and a fifth.... I don't want Vitaly/Vitali/Vitaliy/Vitalii/Vitalik to be dethroned just yet.

You do have a one up. There are four: Sriram / Sreeram / Shriram / Shreeram All of them are phonetically read as “shree” (like three) and “raam” (like charm).

Yes. Though I would say I have never used the “h” sound and my pronunciation always sounds closer to “tree”

Is there a diminutive version of Sriram (eg. something your parents would call you, to yourself or to other people, when you were a kid)?

Sriram Krishnan

“Sri” is very common. Fun fact: Krishnan is not my actual last name when I grew up - I just didn’t have any. Krishnan is actually my dad’s first name. In my culture we often don’t use last names. When I was a teen and needed a passport , I adopted my dad’s first name as my last name. Took me a long time to get used to people calling me by my dad’s name.
