Fun fact about Taiwan: * Taitung (臺東, "Taiwan East") is further south than Tainan (臺南, "Taiwan South") * Taipei (臺北, "Taiwan North") is further east than Taidong In order to complete the cycle, this logically implies that we need to build a new city, Taixi (臺西, "Taiwan West") in this exact spot:

On Yushan, in a place where its longitude is in between 臺西 and 臺東. That way 臺中 can be the one that actually is geographically faithful to its name, except of course for being extreme along the Z axis. It would also be super cool to have a city there.

Also fun fact: obviously Taiwan thought about naming a place “臺西” from the geographical perspective.. but it would sounds like “ To Kill” in 閩南話 (Min dialect). Based on how superstitious their culture is, your wish won’t be granted.

Taking from the name yushan, shan means mountain so I bet its a mountainous region. It’d be extremely cool to see a city there, probably thinking of china’s chongqing
